With a 25-year history in the global dairy industry, Theo has held a variety of general management, operations and supply chain and sales and marketing positions across a number of geographies. Theo was previously the acting CEO of Royal Friesland Foods, leading the Dutch dairy co-operative into a merger with Campina in 2008. Theo has a Bachelor of Arts in food technology/biotechnology and a Master of Business Administration.

Jonathan Mason joined Fonterra in February 2009 as the Chief Financial Officer. He came from US-based Cabot Corporation, where he was Executive Vice President and CFO from 2006, and also worked in a variety of financial management positions at International Paper and ExxonMobil Corporations from 1985 to 2000. Before moving to New Zealand for Fonterra, Jonathan had also worked here when he was CFO for Carter Holt Harvey from 2000 to 2005.

Maury Leyland has been with Fonterra since 2005 and has recently been driving the development of the Strategy Refresh. She was previously Programme Director of VSO, General Manager New Zealand Logistics and Associate Director Strategy and Growth. Prior to that, she spent 9 years with the Boston Consulting Group. Originally an engineer, Maury was a member of both the design and sailing team for Team New Zealand during the successful 1995 America's Cup campaign. Maury is also on the Board of Telecom and a member of the Advisory Board for the Department of Engineering Science at the University of Auckland.

Paul Campbell has been with Fonterra (and one of its legacy companies - NZ Dairy Board) since 1984. Paul is a chemical engineer by training. He has held a number of general management, marketing, technical and financial roles with Fonterra in New Zealand, Japan, North Africa and the United Kingdom. Since the formation of Fonterra, Paul has been closely involved in the design of Fonterra's Strategy, and managed Fonterra's Merger and Acquisition team. In addition, Paul is a director on a number of Fonterra's international joint ventures.

IAN PALLISER joined Fonterra in 2010 after more than 30 years experience with BP, working in a variety of large and complex business units across Australia, the United States, Europe, and the United Kingdom. Immediately before joining Fonterra, he led the BP Group procurement function. Ian has headed Fonterra's Optimisation, Trading and Sourcing team for the past two years.

Before joining Fonterra in February 2008, he managed Danone's nutrition business across Asia and the Pacific. From 1995 to 1998 he was CEO of Dumex, before becoming President and Chief Executive Officer of the Danish listed East Asiatic Company from 1998 to 2007. He is based in Hong Kong.

Sarah Kennedy joined Fonterra in 2011, bringing more than 20 years experience in dietary and animal nutrition, including ten years as Managing Director of Healtheries New Zealand. For the past year, she has been Managing Director of RD1 - Fonterra's chain of rural retail stores. Prior to joining Fonterra, Sarah completed the Sloan Fellow Program in Global Leadership and Innovation at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and she is also "Board member of the Innovation Board for the Ministry of Science & Innovation" (instead of "member of the Global Women's Advisory Board").
