We are progressive 50% Sharemilkers miilking 460 quiet crossbreed cows through a good 40 ASHB shed at Poroutawhao - five mins from Foxton, Levin, and Waitarere beach. START DATE; 01 MAY 2010 To 01 JUNE 2010 flexible with this. We are looking for a Farmhand/2IC on a 420-450 cow farm in Owhango (16kms south of Taumarunui). We are wanting someone with experience in milking, tractor work, calf rearing and general day to day duties. This person needs to be reliable, able to work unsupervised and be able to run the farm in our absence. A partner being able to do some relief milking and helping with calf rearing would be an advantage but not a necessity. There is a house available, motorbike provided and regular time off.
